The station is on Frequency Modulation (FM 91.4MHz) licensed as a community radio station in Mashonaland Central Province. The province is experiencing a scourge of early child marriages, child pregnancies, suicides, gender-based violence, drug and substance abuse which the radio takes responsibility itself as a platform and a resource for solutions. As a community radio station, our mandate is chiefly to promote and broadcast local based programs that serve and suit the local taste of socio-economic aspects targeting;

- Religion – Pastor’s fraternity, Gospel musicians and denominations.
- Mining – Ministry of Mines, Miners Federations, small-scale miners/ mine-owners.

Madziwa FM takes pride on being the first and only community radio station in the province. Madziwa FM is presented with a strategic Unique Selling Point (USP) opportunity to broadcast and market the province unique attributes, increasing awareness in and around the province thereby boost confidence towards provincial development. Madziwa FM serves a variety of language dialects (Shona, Nyanja, Chewa, Korekore, a bit of Ndebele), rich in understanding of African cultures which are the KoreKore, Chewa culture among others on top of being a very habitable area adjacent to the Dande valley a prospect of oil and gas exploration.
